Happenings and Shenanigans

Well you can see the last post was “almost here” and now 4 months later I’m making another post. Man what a trip it has been. We’ve been having a lot of fun though here is evidence:

I’m realizing I haven’t posted in a really long time. That’s my problem I start these things then I forget about them. Well things are going good and he’s going to come visit just around the corner now. We’ve finished up the babies room and now we’re putting things together to get ready for the eventual hospital stay. Put in my car seat yesterday and that wasn’t too hard. Overall we are pretty excited. Next week we go in for yet another ultrasound this time to measure size. Be curious to see what they say. Check out the babies room, we are pretty excited about it!

We had to get a second ultrasound to check for any complications. The double good news is no problems were found and we got more pictures! I’ve included them here.

20 weeks along now. We just had our ultrasound to check on development and I”m happy to report that everything looks great. We also found out conclusively it’s a boy! Chalk one up to Woman’s intuition and Chinese calendars. I’ve included some new ultrasound picks here for you to check out too.

The site is working well, and I’m getting the hang of this wordpress thing. I’ve changed the rules so you don’t have to log in to comment anymore which is nice. Things are good for Laurie and I. I just had my yearly review and that was positive. Still have a job for the time being. Been doing a lot of exciting stuff with the church teens, the group is growing fast. Last few weeks I’ve been doing some training in Mount Vernon with one of the other leaders in our organization. I’ts been great stufff so far and I’m looking forward towards more.

Anyway onto the whole point! In a week we should be finding out the gender of our baby. Laurie is convinced it’s a Boy, so we’ve mostly been talking about boy names. I’ve put together a poll with some of the front runners (and a few “different” ones) and I”m curious to get input. So Vote! Tell me your thoughts, and feel free to comment with suggestions.  Stay tuned next week to hear the big reveal and also we’ll have tons of footage I’m sure. I’m hoping to film the ultrasound and of course we’ll scan the pictures we get at the least.

It took a week but we are Feeling better. Laurie is doing well and surprisingly I didn’t catch it. Yay! Things are good at our place, we seem to be busy but I don’t know what we’re doing all the time. In just a couple weeks we get to go the hospital for the big Ultrasound. This is the one where we find out gender if things go right. It should be a lot of fun!

Ugh, it’s been a long weekend. The winter flu season has invaded our home and Laurie is super sick. Last night was the worst, but we’re hoping she’ll feel better today.

I started working on the office move to open the baby room up. I finished most of the garage rearrange and gave it a good sweeping. I put my PC down there this weekend and man it is COLD. If this is going to be the office going into the future we’re going to have to wall it in. There just isn’t any way around it. I’m going to take measurements and rely on the good will of friends to help me put this thing together. Should be fun.

It’s all so new! Welcome to the new home for the Creasey Family on the internet. Over the coming weeks I’ll be playing around with the site so don’t be surprised when things look different from time to time. Once I’m done playing with the technicals we’ll get down to business and start sharing information with everyone. My goal here is to write a quick snippet of what’s going on in our lives for Family and Friends we don’t always get to catch up with. We’ll also be posting pictures of the family, events, fun stuff and whatever else strikes my fancy. I hope to keep it fun and informal.
